This is a fun and exciting bike ride from he rim of the famed Waimea Canyon (el, 3500') down 12 miles of smooth winding blacktop all the way to the shore of the blue Pacific. 100% downhill, 100% fun! See the sunrise over Waimea Canyon.
 
Sunrise event guests are served fresh brewed Kauai Coffee and blueberry muffins hot out of the oven as you ride up in their van. Spring water is also provided.
 
Sunset event guests are served cold drinks, spring water, and Kauai Cookies.
 
Comfortable helmets and safe operating procedures make for a ride that is safe and controlled, but still fun and exciting.
 
You will be riding through one of the most beautiful and interesting places on the planet, and of course be able to stop for photos along the way and also a shared narrative of the history, culture, folklore, and legends of the area. You will get to identify native plants, birds, and trees and learn about
what makes kauai so special!
 
The bikes you will be riding are great cruisers with wide, comfy saddles, hi-rise handlebars, and smooth, powerful drum brakes that are fun and easy to ride.
 
Sunrise Tour checks-in at 6 :00 am and returns at 10:00 am
 
Sunset Tour checks-in at 2:30 pm and returns at 6:00 pm

Meeting point is in Poipu on the South Shore of Kauai

What to wear: shorts or pants, T-shirt, wind breaker or light raincoat (keep in mind that the elevation & early morning start makes it chilly, layering your garments works best!), closed toe shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen may be a good idea.

A 4.5 hour bike through private back roads & hike experience you will never forget!
 
Leave extreme mountain biking to the other guys! On cruiser bikes, travel former cane roads on 22,000 acre Grove Farm Plantation. The tour is a photograpers dream come true! Learn about the history of Kaua'i as you bike along scenic roads, past various crops, through tropical forest and the Wilcox tunnel to the old Koloa Sugar Mill. After a short tour of the mill, hike along the untouched coastline of Maha'ulepu to a secluded picnic spot for lunch. This is a half day adventure you will always remember.

Don't forget to bring: Closed toe shoes (required) A bathing suit and towel. (Suit should be worn under riding gear)
