Waterfall Picnic Tour Wailua River - 4.5 Hours, Monday through Saturday
Local guides will take you back to these ancient times with an informative narration.
The Kayak journey will lead you through a scared valley once reserved only for the Ali'i (Royalty). You will paddle approximately two miles up the river's North Fork. There you will disembark your kayak and begin your hike through a tropical rainforest. This scared valley is lined with scenic waterways and cascades great for a refreshing dip. You will hike about 1 mile to the 120 foot Uluwehi (Secret) Falls. Here you will enjoy a nice Picnic Lunch. We will then hike back to our kayaks and then kayak back down the river. Tour duration is about 4.5 hours. This is an adventure the entire family can enjoy!

What to Bring:
Water friendly shoes (no flip flops or crocs), swimsuit, towels, eyeglass straps, change of clothes for afterwards, sunscreen, hat and bug repellent.

Physical Requirements:
No pregnancies or bad backs. Participants should be comfortable in the water, enjoy hiking and be in good physical condition. Expect about 4 miles of paddling and about 2 miles of hiking. Trail conditions can be muddy and slippery at times.

Rates are per person including 4.166% state tax.

Cancellation Penalties: For all optional vacation tours - activities and tour routings are subject to change without notice. Generally tours canceled outside of 48 hours will not have cancel penalties. No shows are subject to no refund. Tours missed due to illness will be entitled to a full refund if physicians papers are submitted.
