Exclusive Waterfall Hike

Discover the hidden hiking treasures of Oahu's lush volcanic rainforest. This moderate 2-mile round-trip guided hike is a rare opportunity to explore 75-acres of sacred land that is exclusive only to the guests of our company. Experience the majestic beauty of our towering 200-foot private waterfall, cross through tranquil streams, picturesque pools and view ancient lo`i (rock terraces) and lush tropical vegetation of Hawaii's paradise.

With average year-round temperatures of 80 degrees (cooler in the rainforest), refreshing trade winds and two volcanic mountain ranges on this Hawaiian island, Oahu is a hiker's paradise. Given the popularity of hiking, and since most all other hiking companies feature public trails and multiple groups, the secluded personality of the rainforest is often compromised. As a locally owned and operated company with a passion for Oahu's volcanic rainforest beauty, we take great pride in knowing our guests are experiencing something uniquely our own and that will not be overcrowded by other tour companies and the general public. Our exclusive rainforest adventure is more than a hike; it is a journey through the past and present on our own remote 75-acres of private Manoa Valley rainforest.

Hike, Kayak & Snorkel Adventure at Kualoa

Your adventure will begin with a short hike to a scenic overlook at the entrance to Hakipuu Valley. Here you'll have the chance to capture an aerial perspective of the breathtaking beauty and landscape, from its forested valleys to its inviting ocean reef waters.

From this point on, your day will continue to unfold with one unforgettable highlight after another. Once completing your kayak instruction, you’ll paddle along the tranquil and glassy waters of Kaneohe Bay. Because of the protected reef that surrounds this area, this is one of the safest places for kayaking on Oahu.

You’ll journey by kayak along Kualoa, listed on the National Register of Historical Places, past Mokoli`i (Chinaman's Hat) Island (just 500 feet offshore), and to the 800-year old Molii fishpond (one of the last remaining ancient Hawaiian fishponds in the State). This 125-acre rock-walled enclosure was hand-built by ancient Hawaiians to maintain a ready supply of live ocean fish. As part of the privately-owned 4,000 acre Kualoa Ranch, you’ll have the rare opportunity to experience an ancient Hawaiian treasure that most visitors to Oahu never get to see.

As your kayak glides along the tranquil coast line of Kaneoohe Bay, our adventure will include an exclusive visit to Oahu’s hidden gem known as "Secret Island". This secluded beach in the country becomes your playground for relaxation, enjoyment and a picnic lunch. Whether you want to relax in a hammock, take a stroll around the island, or return to the ocean for a quick canoe ride, you’re certain not to want to leave.
