This annual event showcases creations by Hawaii's premier resort and restaurant chefs. MAORI SONG & DANCE FESTIVAL
Te Kapa Haka o Manoa presents the annual Ahurei festival, a presentation of traditional song and dance of the indigenous people of New Zealand. The kapa haka or Maori performing arts group is comprised of students from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The afternoon will feature award winning Maori kapa haka groups based in Laie, including Te Hokioi led by Seamus Fitzgerald and Te Wananga Maori o Hawaii led by Tama Halverson and Shannon Gale'ai. STATUE DECORATION CEREMONIES ALIOLANI HALE

KING KAMEHAMEHA HULA COMPETITION
An annual international cultural event taking place over several days and featuring dance troups from the mainland, Japan, and Hawaii. KOREAN ARTIST ASSOCIATION SHOW
The annual Member Show of the Korean Artist Association of Hawaii features original artwork in various media in the Courtyard of Honolulu Hale. The artwork, by members of the association, employs both traditional and contemporary techniques and covers a wide range of topics. The Korean Artist Association of Hawaii was established in 1986. The organization holds an annual exhibition to introduce Korean artists to the local community. Members of the organization have been recognized both nationally and internationally. James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge is located near Kahuku town on the north shore of Oahu. This wetland refuge is home to four endangered Hawaiian water birds and numerous migratory waterfowl and shorebirds. Mission Houses Museum was established in 1920 by the Hawaiian Mission Children’s Society, a private, non-profit organization and genealogical society. Its three restored houses and research library provide a unique glimpse into 19th century Hawai‘i, and its temporary exhibition gallery expands the Museum’s relevance and positive impact on the community through the presentation of such exhibitions as The Marquesas: Two Centuries of Cultural Traditions and Lasting Impressions: Printing & Engraving in Hawai‘i. Every weekend since July of 1954 hundreds of original paintings prints, and photos have been on display at the zoo fence and dozens of fine artists are on hand to meet. If you're visiting Honolulu, Art At The Zoo Fence is only a two-block walk from Waikiki. If you're lucky enough to live here, you can park at the Kapiolani Park Bandstand free parking lot just across Monsarrat Avenue from the Honolulu Zoo.
